How many people do you want to seat?
I love the look of benches, but they are way too uncomfortable for me to imagine expecting someone to spend every dinner sitting on one.

I honestly would love to seat 8-12 but think in my price point it isn't realistic so am looking at 6 piece sets.
I hear y'all on the benches. Looks can't beat out comfort. Except in shoes...
If you really want to do 8-12, you need to start going to estate sales every week, and checking craigslist every day.

This is a great deal, and I see Duncan Phyfe tables at antique stores and thrift sales all the time, as low as $300. You could recover the seats for like $40 tops for all the chairs.

The Verona was the one I had found before. I LOVE it.
I want to be able to do the Craigslist thing I just SUCK at those types of things. I need to learn though.
