I don't really have any favorite new song right now. I will say that I really dislike Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift. I mean, I liked NSync back in the day, but I just cannot stand their songs! - but this does not mean I'm "Team Kanye!"
I did recently download Live's greatest hits and have been enjoying it profusely! I forgot how many good songs they had. I really missed Lakini's Juice!
I've always really liked Usher, so I'm enjoying "Hot Tottie" at the moment. I do also really like Nelly's new song "Just a Dream".
I too dislike Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber. Too bad Usher was the one who signed Bieber to his label!
I was just thinking this the other day, though. Do you think there's an age at which listening to Top 40 is a faux pas? Kind of like one of those unwritten rules where women over a certain age "shouldn't" wear a mini skirt, or men of a certain age are "expected" to know/do xyz?
I don't know... I do get surprised every now and again when my mom knows a top 40 song. But then you have to think about it, that is what is popular right now, when my parents were my age it was all rock, which is now classified as "Classic Rock." Which I love, rock isn't the same these days. Bring back guitar solos!! Sometimes I do wonder though if my kids will be listening to my fav music from when I was in high school/early adult hood like I do with my parents music, or if by the time they get that old, it will be like the Partridge Family, yuck.

I know how you feel. I think the song is pretty dumb, but it's got such a good beat that I automatically start dancing.
Your mom knows how to set a ringtone? I had to set to font size for my mom on her phone b/c she didn't want it so big... I couldn't imagine her trying to figure out finding a ringtone!
Haha me too! Speaking of getting too old for the Top 40, what is a G6? Am I that out of touch? lol
