I made it!!

So the past 24 hours have been a real roller coaster. My flights got me home at 8:40 am as planned. I got to the house at 9:00 and was just too tired to get in the car & drive 90 miles since I'd gotten all of about an hour of sleep on both flights combined. So I took a nap. I had plenty of time because mom wasn't going in for pre-op until 2:00. I got about 45 minutes in before it was time to go. So I am in the car in the driveway texting both parents telling them i just couldn't do it without a nap, see you in 90 minutes. I hit the interstate and dad texts saying that they are in the room getting mom now! What happened to 2:00?! I did all of this so I could see her BEFORE she goes in for surgery. I start bawling while I'm driving. I've been doing it all day cuz im so effing tired! I get here and no one is in the waiting room but the lady at the desk is expecting me and sends me back...to what I don't know. I get to where she directed me and there is an empty bed and my dad is not there. But there is a nurse 15 feet away that tells me "she's here in the restroom." I asked if she was already out of surgery and she says no, she hasnt gone yet. I was shocked and started crying instantly. Then when my mom came out I started bawling. I couldn't believe that I actually got to see her before the surgery!! I couldn't stop crying. I couldn't talk. I was so overwhelmingly relieved! So she went into surgery at 1:30 and the surgeon just came out to tell us they're having trouble with one gallstone that's stuck. It could be another hour or so and they hope to get it today but might no be able to get it. If that's the case, she will have to have another surgery in a hospital where I live because they can't do it here. But he assured us that she's doing really well. My dad is here but he is napping. The radiation is taking it's toll. I'm in the waiting room with a set of aunts & uncles from each side of the family. And I'm really, really glad to be here!
