So is an ugly car a felony or a simple misdemeanor?

I simply must know.

LarissaAnn? Sue_sue? Any insight?

Re: So is an ugly car a felony or a simple misdemeanor?

  • If ugly were a crime, that post would be on death row.

I love how the suggestion that a poster take a few seconds to make sure her post is comprehensible to others is always met with, "Well, I usually write Nobel-worthy compositions, but I'm tired/haven't had my coffee/in a hurry and I just can't be bothered to put together anything resembling a sentence right now!"

  • It depends... are we talking Pontiac Aztec, Honda Element, Scion xB, or Nissan Cube?

(Sorry to anyone who has any of these, they are just VERY not my style.)

  • If they are reliable, practical, frugal, and get great gas mileage, they're a WIN.

  • Dude, I'm driving a 2003 Honda CR-V that I got several months ago for $4,000 with 7300 miles on it.  I'm all for frugal & practical... and this was the find of a lifetime.

But if I had my druthers, I'd be driving a Saleen S7.

The CR-V is cute-ish.  Any of the ones I listed, with the same specs I listed... I'd turn down.  I just couldn't do it.

  • I'm only snobby about a few things... cars, beer, and tea are on the list.  Oh, and apple pie.
  • LMAO!  Maybe it depends on how ugly?

I remember a girl at school in my teen days drove a yellow something with black trim and it said "KILLER BEE" across the side.  Niiiiiice......she was a nice girl, too, and she was dating one of the hottest guys in school.  (and I swear on my life this is not MUD!)

There's also an F-150 that used to drive past my parents' house in the mornings about 5-10 years ago on monster truck wheels with cat eyes painted on the tailgate hiding behind leaves and the license plate said "BADKITTY."  Yes, the driver was a woman.

So with those said, anyone driving a vehicle that screams "white trash" that loud deserves to be thrown in the clink for a couple days.

  • OMG, there's a monster truck in my neighborhood on the big tires & raised axles, and all I laugh every time I see it.  All I can think, besides "OMG the gas prices!" is "Haha, my high school boyfriend had that in the '80s!"
  • Im pretty sure it is something if u dont pay tickets,

With all do respect, It seems like people post things about thier families that upset them especially around the holidays. What bothers be most about all this is that this person was probably ashamed of what they went through & thought no matter how shameful it was that maybe someone would say hey my problem wasnt so bad. So from what I gather The Inlaws possibly cost that family well over 100k in dollars cars, houses and land are not cheap, even years later Im sure it upsets that person It would me to, & then to here people so concerned about grammar & 'trivial' things of that nature. Where you guys not listening that person endured rascist comments from her new family & even comments about her weight due to a medical condition. And some of you guys are ridiculing & even so willing to ostracise. I took the liberty of speaking with that person this was something that person wrote after they sent her on a break down, this person recived (sorry I didnt spell that right for the Gramar Nazi's)- 57k in student loans as a scholarship & was also a magna *** laude from a major college it took hard work to pay for school because she knows of hard work. She is actually from another country thats beside the point. Why all the insight I know the family she speaks of she is my roomate. No further details I will say living 2 days away does help, & her main concerns at that time was her BIL doing things illegally trying to bring others down in the process in return it blew up in his face now he is the one with legal issues doing stuff he shouldnt have been doing things she questioned, Im sure he will use that time wisely if u know what I mean so problem solved. So After seeing all this no ones laughing. Im sure she could have handled that appropiately, but she didnt feel a reason to justify herself to strangers  that where more concerned about gramar. Again with respect, when people react a certain way quetion why & not jump to conclusions. She told me to apologize on her part. SInce then just sailing. I also want to comment that some people as family members are tired of the bickering especially over money. There are way more important things in the world than petty things.

  • I had a hand-me-down free car that lost its muffler on the BQE one night (Bronx Queens Expressway). The exhaust piping was so rotted-out, I  didn't notice a change.

It was a cute Toyota Corolla hatch-batch. Well, I hope it was cute and I wasn't deluding myself. And a ticket.

My darling daughter just turned 4 years old.

    LoL, exactly.

    ...What?

  • So this thread was a spin off of another one?  Which one?

  • So you're Hungarian, then?  That's fine.  But the Hungarians I know still believe in sentences that make their writing comprehensible.

And I don't believe for a second you're the poster's "roommate."  You're the same person under a new name.  That's just sad.

And kind of scary - did it ever occur to you that you might not be playing with the full deck?

  • There's a solution to stop bickering over money. Stop enabling people. That person's H or BF or whatever kept GIVING everything to his brother. It won't stop unless he stops enabling him, simple as that. Like I told her - move far away and don't look back, otherwise the situation won't change.

As for grammar police, it's just hard for people to read and reply to a post if it's way too long with no paragraphs or punctuation.  Simply, if you want people to take the time to read your vents or questions, put it into a legible format.

And finally I thought she was married to or living with this Jim guy.  So how could you - someone named David, I'm assuming - be her room mate?  I know my H would flip if I was shackin' up with some other dude.

LMAO! Oh yeah - the BADKITTY truck was like red and silver striped-ish, too. It was the epitome of WT driving through a nice neighborhood. Stood out like a sore thumb.

I'm pretty sure Hungarians use paragraphs.  Am I wrong?

  • You two need to stop being roommates now.  You both write the exact.same.way.  Misspellings and all.
  • DavidCaspers or whatever your name is, while I am definitely not trying to be a grammar police, that was hard to read and comprehend.  I read the OP and you are the same person who wrote the incomprehensible post before.

    Chrysler P.T. Loser

I had a weird autistic cousin who collected AMC Gremlins. Those cars were uglier than a carload of as.s.holes.
