Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I just want to get home...
So I made it to Chicago 40 minutes early - we landed at 4:45 CST. My connecting flight doesn't leave until 7:55 and I can drive home in 2.5 hours. So I call about getting a rental and they tell me it's going to be $300+. Are you effing kidding me?! I will rent this for a total of 4 hours! And I was crying and telling her how I flew all night to get home and my mom's having surgery today and I got nothing but $300. It's just ridiculous.
And I got word that my mom's surgery is at 2:00 so as soon as I get home, I will grab clothes and hit the road to head the 90 miles to the hospital. I'm just a few hours away from being with my parents...finally!
Thanks everyone for listening to me. I know I'm going on and on about this stuff. But I really appreciate you letting me hammer it all out on here.

ughh, i hope you get home soon!
(i have to fly to mexico tomorrow for a family member's wedding and i so dont want to go. This year has just been straight up expensive!)
