Re: The Switch Witch

  • I have no plans to do this.  I will, however, take the candies that look like they've been 'tampered' with (aka, anything reese's, m&m, twix, or butterfinger related).

Hey, I care about my kid's safety.

  • I think it's safe to assume Ethan will never taste a reeses cup because "Oh you wouldn't like those. They're yucky. I'll just eat that for you."

  • Like Buddha, my child will never know what a peanut butter cup taste like until they are old enough to go on their own and quickly hide their candy before I can inspect.

  • I will never do this.  how stupid.  Halloween candy needs to be savored over several weeks.
  • That sounds ridiculous. Will eats a piece of his candy after dinner, or two if it's something very small. He's so excited about it I can't bring myself to eat any of it unless he offers it to me. Fortunately, Will is generous and tells me to take a piece every time he eats one. "You eat one tooooo Mommy!"

  • Noisy is a good mom.

It just seems unnecessary. Just regulate your kid's candy intake, FFS. And after a year or two, won't they just eat themselves sick anyway?
