Bloom and Corez Wine Bar are closed
I just saw on GR Now's website that Bloom in downtown closed and Corze on Cherry closed on Oct 31. I know a few of you go there.
Re: Bloom and Corez Wine Bar are closed
I read about Bloom the other week but hadn't heard about Corez. I'd never been to either, but Bloom was on my list. It sounded like their concept just didn't work here - but I believe the article I read said they hoped to reopen with a different concept.
Bloom closed on Oct. 31.
Corez is still open; they announced today (Thursday) that the business has been sold to new owners and will be open as Corez through Saturday night. If you've never been, or want one last hurrah this weekend, GO. Their cocktails are simply amazing.
The Corez owners weren't looking to sell, but apparently got a very good offer. The new owner is Essence Restaurants, the parent company of Bistro Bella Vita and The Green Well. They are planning to put a new restaurant in the Corez space.

We heard about Bloom (last week? DH had a link) and we were sad. It was good, good stuff.
