Any resturant recs near Mystic Lake?
My gf and I are headed to a concert there on Sunday, we want to grab dinner before we get to the casino. We will be coming from the south, and not via Burnsville (which I know has a TON of options) is there anything closer to the casino?
Re: Any resturant recs near Mystic Lake?
I like the Minnehaha Cafe at the casino. I've always gotten decent food there.
Pretty much the only thing around the casino are chains, which will lower your price for quality even more, IMO.
Same with Burnsville, there are a couple decent places, but most everything else is chains where you're paying exorbitant amounts for the same sysco food at all the other chains.
I second the buffet. I think they opened a new restaurant in the casino somewhere that's gotten good feedback.
Here's a link on their website with the restaurants in the casino. http://www.mysticlake.com/restaurants
I like the buffet. We go when it's $12.95, but I don't think they offer that price on Sundays.
Enjoy your concert!
ETA: Turtle's is good. It's in downtown Shakopee, very easy to get to the casino from there as well. There's a fantastic mexican restaurant in downtown Shakopee too, Pablos.
Pablo's is closed on Sunday's. Turtle's is a good option but if there is a Nascar race it may be very hard to get a table. Dangerfield's is good but on the $$ side of an average resturant.
