Heh, I'm stealing raynes' post.
I just watched Bon Jovi rock it out on the Today Show, so today has to be a good day.
Any fun plans for the weekend?
Re: Happy Friday!
Saturday we have tickets to see Anne-Sophie Mutter at the Kennedy Center.
Sunday is the blood drive at church and then we may go see a movie.
I'm going try to finalize the holiday baking list so I can hit the Costco for supplies. I look at it like pulling off a band-aid. I'd rather spend all the money in one fell swoop and be done with it than an extra $10-20 each week on the regular grocery bill.

Good morning!
I think some people are having trouble logging on today, which might be why raynes didn't post yet. auntb messaged me that she can't get on right now.
Tonight I'm going out for a friend's 30th birthday. She recently broke off her engagement to a guy she's been with for maybe 5 years, and tonight we're meeting her new BF. I'm not sure what to think because they started dating literally a month after her broken off engagement. We'll see.
Relatively quiet weekend ahead. V will be volunteering to help a friend throw some sort of event so I'll get some alone time.

Good morning, Ladies.
Not much going on here. My daughter has a cheer competition tomorrow, but other than that it's cleaning, decorating, and probably a hike or two.
Have a great day everyone.
I'm hoping to get a job offer today
They said end of the week and it doesn't get much more end of the week than Friday.
This weekend I'm having some friends over for a wine night on Saturday. Other than that, no major plans. I'm hoping to have a clean house by the end of the weekend.
Yesterday I did a massive house clean. So this weekend I get to do whatever I really want! Tomorrow I am going shopping with the lady I'm going to start Nannying for, so I know what brands she prefers etc. when I go shopping with the kids.
Other that that I don't really have any plans. I think today at some point I'm going to go and sit down at a quaint little coffee shop and do some knitting while the DH doesn't some school work at home, I can sometimes be a bit of a distraction.
WHAT? Where is it?
Crossing my fingers for you!

Phil is making dinner tonight, which means Drunken Clam Spaghetti with Stout. YUM. I'm very excited.
I hear ya on the errors... apparently people are getting them in IE (mostly).
Ooh! Ooh! I'm also getting a head start on Christmas presents... I'm making roasted chestnut liqueur this weekend, and I'm sitting in my office munching on homemade berry jellies that I made last weekend (SO easy - I just put the recipe up on my blog)... I think sponge toffee is next on the list.

Good morning ladies!
Today is my birthday so I'm going out for some lunch with Eddie. Tonight we have some plans to go over to my mom's for a BBQ. The rest of the weekend I'll be stuck doing homework.
Happy Friday!
ringy was correct, I could not log in this morning. I hated it.
Wicked was really awesome last night. Getting home at midnight after sitting through 20 extra minutes of construction traffic was not at all wicked, or awesome.
Last night they cut, stretched and glued down the carpet all over the office. Today I'm high on carpet glue fumes.
Tonight is a quiet night. I'm making beef stroganof and we'll likely catch up on TV.
Tomorrow should be yard work and work on the house. Sunday, who knows!
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?
HI!... not much going on here. Might try to leave early, not feeling well and just want to take a nap. No real big plans this wkd other than a lot of errand running to get things in order for thanksgiving. Kinda happy nothing is on the agenda, especially since I'm avoiding most of my friends right now anyway...

Happy Birthday Dora!
No big plans for me this weekend. Jason had surgery on his knee last week and can't put any weight on it for three weeks, so he's pretty much stuck in bed. We're going to have a movie marathon weekend and I'm going to deep clean the entire house.
Dora: Happy Birthday! Hope you have a great day
Abarber: Fingers & toes crossed! I hope you hear something soon and can celebrate this weekend.
We're working around the house this weekend, mowing lawns, putting up lawn furniture, and hanging curtains. DH out of the blue last night has had a change or heart and thinks we should paint the stairwells! So I think we'll be looking into scheduling that.
Also, we got an invite from a neighbor to stop in for a party Saturday night. I told DH we need to go because I'd like some friends in the neighborhood and they're the only ones our age.
Amie - Good luck, I hope you get it!
Dora - Happy birthday!
Tonight we're going to celebrate my brother's birthday. It's going to be pretty low key, just some pizza and hanging out at my parent's house.
Tomorrow we're going to watch the fight at one of our friends' house. Should be fun to see some friends we haven't seen in a while.
Sunday we're going to my cousins house for dinner.
Hope you ladies have a good weekend!
Tonight I'd really love to just go home and lay in bed all night. That never happens, so we're going to my BIL's house to play with the nephews and eat dinner. They wanted to do something for me for watching the boys months ago. I appreciate it, but I don't feel the need to have them do something for me. I love the boys. No thank you necessary. Plus, he's not really a great cook, so dinner probably isn't the way to go.
Tomorrow I'll be working all morning and then a wine night with a good friend. I feel like I haven't seen her in forever.
Sunday will be an all day bed day. I can't wait. Plus, I'm taking Monday off since I have a doc appointment in the morning and get a comp day for working tomorrow. Should be another all day bed day, but who knows.
I'm in a terrible mood today. My husband is a moron. His truck died this morning so he took my vehicle that has my wallet, carseats, and some of the kids' winter clothes in it and buggered off. So I was stuck all morning trying to figure out how I would get Gib off to school. Thank god one of my mom friends lives close and will pick him up for me on her way to the school.
Tomorrow, I'm going out for drinks with a girlfriend. I'm excited cause now I have friends with kids so we relate to eachother more than I do with my single, childless friends.
Sunday I'm doing nothing so far...
Good afternoon (first time I can log in today)!
Just got back from having the power steering in my car replaced--the car was on recall, so I'm glad we have that out of the way.
This will be a quiet weekend for us -- gym, chores, errands, reading, writing, etc. Nothing too exciting, but after a conference week, the quiet is always welcome.
Good afternoon ladies. I too haven't been able to post messages until now.
This weekend should be a good one but very busy. Iko was limping last night, so B is taking her to the vet after work today, and depending on how late I have to work, I may join him. I'm keeping my fingers crossed it's nothing serious. Then I'm off to dinner for a friend's birthday, followed by running to the airport to pick up a friend from out of town. Tomorrow will be spent haning out with my out of town friend. Sunday, we have a friend's son's fourth birthday party to go to and then I'll probably work and do some laundry.
Hope everyone has a good day and weekend!
Hi all! No big plans this weekend...Tonight I am baking chicken tenders with a thai chili sauce and we will probably just watch TV. BIL and FSIL will be coming to spend the night but not until late. We may go out for a drink when they get here...maybe. Ed is getting up at 2am on Saturday to take BIL to the airport because he is going to South Carolina for a few months this winter (he's a golf pro). Other than that, I think we will do some yard work tomorrow and then laying low.

Tonight I'm going to buy my very first turkey. I'm hosting Thanksgiving and want to get a few things out of the way and I currently have room in my freezer.
I also plan on talking to DH a bit more about our trip to Spain tonight and make an invitation for our families to come over for Thanksgiving. Yeah it's nerdy but it's our very first thanksgiving. I want to Martha it up a bit.
Saturday: I have to go get my drivers license renewed it expires on my birthday Monday and they are closed Monday.
after that I have no plans
Sunday: My parents maybe coming over for lunch
Tonight we are going to catch up on our Thursday night television.
Tomorrow I work 8-12, then I'll head to the gym. I'm excited to get my hair cut tomorrow afternoon! Nothing crazy, just a trim, but it's really been bothering me.
Sunday I'm running a 5km Jingle Bell Run which I'm really excited about since I haven't raced a 5K since the 90's. I'm hoping to finish in less than 27 minutes!
