Buckeyes sent from my family in Ohio!
AH! I love buckeyes! I got the recipe/idea from my BFF's family in Ohio and I make them at Thanksgiving and Christmas. And my friends and I have a running joke b/c one year we were having a baking party.. we made buckeyes.. Then we walked to my bedroom and let them sit for a minute. We all came into the kitchen at nearly the same time, maybe 15 seconds apart or so. And as I kicked some mystery substace in the living room (what was dog vomit) one of my friends said "Ohhh... what happened to all the buckeyes?!". Yep,,, my little dog ate ALL of them! Haha its still a joke of "What happened to the buckeyes?!" Haha he was ok. That's just a LOT of peanut butter and powdered sugar for the little guy!
