Dear Community,

Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Arrggghhh....I can't take it anymore. 

One (out of the three) of the bosses is here today and he is the one that is always complaining about everything and is so negative. I can't stand it anymore. I really try to ignore him half the time. And I swear that guy gets distracted very easily and can get a lot more done if he stuck to a schedule, instead of complaining. 

Okay, rant over.

Any of you have any tips on how to deal with these people? I know there is always at least one any workplace, but I am seriously about to go crazy and have worked with someone like this.

  • I wish I had some advice I could take myself. My boss drives me crazy half the time, I've complained about him ALOT on here in previous posts. Plus there's another admin here (she's been here for 30 some years and thinks she knows everything) who drives everyone insane. I'm so glad she's off today!

  • Yea, out of the three bosses, he is the only one that I don't care for. He is just weird! 

    I get excited when he leaves for lunch and when he has to leave early (which is very rare).

  • HIDE!!!  I've been avoiding phone calls from people all day.  One was a woman who always asks the most ridiculous questions and can't seem to do anything for herself and will NOT let me get off the phone with her.  I've memorized the numbers of the people that annoy me and today I've been making sure that I don't answer their phone calls.  If it's  important, they can leave me a message.

  • LOL Stu we think the same way. If none of the bosses are here and I know the number and who it is, I don't answer it. If it is important they can leave a message or email me. At least half of the time it is telemarketers or vendors. 

    If the one boss (the one that annoys me) is the only one here I won't answer the phone unless it's a customer.

  • One of the other admin girls will CONSTANTLY call me and say "hey can you ask so and so about _____" or "Hey can you tell so and so this".... dude.... call them yourself.  It's less work.  She has been one of the people I've been avoiding all day.  I want to scream at her "THEIR PHONES ARE NOT BROKEN!!!  CALL THEM DIRECTLY!!!"
