Help! I have no idea what to wear for my college graduation in a month..I know it will be cold but I don't really want to just wear black pants and a sweater. My gown is black and there are no rules for what we have to wear. Anyone got any ideas? Links are always great too!!
TIA
Re: Winter graduation outfit
When I got my masters, I wore a nice dress with a sweater and heels....and just about everyone else was wearing black pants under their gown. I wish I would've too - it was freezing, and I could've gotten away with more comfy shoes! However, I'm generally NOT much of a dress or heels type of person. Our gowns were black too, although I did match my shoes to the hood (sorta!)
(PS - yes, my hair used to be red, and no, I'm not wearing white tights/hose - those are indeed my pale legs!!)
Ditto PP - black pants and a sweater since it's a winter graduation. There is always the option to change afterwards if you think a dress is more appropriate for celebration events.
