Runners? Is there an Alb. area Turkey Trot?
Hi all! This looks to be a pretty slow board, but hopefully someone can help me out. Do any of you know of any Alb. area (or somewhat close) Turkey Trots? My H and I have a tradition of running one every year and this year we are visiting my dad in Alb. We would love to run that morning in a Turkey Trot, but I can't find info on one anywhere.

Duff is our local runner. She probably has the best details on any Turkey Trots.
I was able to get some info from the ABQ Road Runner website. Their Nov scheule is at http://www.aroadrun.org/Event_Cal/November/Event_Nov.htm . It looks we have 2 Thanksgiving Day runs. The Turkey Trot - http://tcrproductions.com/ - and a Hobbler Gobler Run - http://www.active.com/event_detail.cfm?event_id=1610345 .
Yep, Flame hit both of the ones I know of, but I don't have personal experiences with either. MH and I are going to pick one of them (haven't looked into them yet). I know one is organized by Athlete's Edge...the Hobbler Gobbler maybe...that one's lower on my list. I haven't had good experiences w/AE run races/events and others I know who've done more with them have said the same.
I need to look into them more, but MH and I are going to be doing a 10k that morning if there is one...otherwise we'll settle for a 5k.
