Re: What is your favorite Thanksgiving dessert?
my mom always makes a homemade cheesecake....doesn't even matter what kind it is, but last year, she made one that was like our wedding cake (mocha/irish cream), and it was the best!!!!
For standard thanksgiving dessert, i have to go with pecan pie...the sweeter the better!

12/10 - Unmedicated cycle due to RE not doing treatments in December = BFN
1/11 - 100mg Clomid + trigger + IUI + Estradiol + Progesterone = BFN
2/11 - Same sh!t, different month = IUI cancelled due to no response = BFN
IVF #1 - Start stims (Follistim) 5/10, add in Ganirelix 5/14
ER 5/21 - 13 retrieved, 7 mature, 5 fertilized; ET 5/26 - transferred one perfect 1AA blast. 3 snowbabies.
Beta 6/3 - 15.8; Beta 6/7 - 21.8; Beta 6/10 - 7
FET - Transferred 1 AA blast 7/11. Beta 7/20 - 311! Beta 7/22 - 784!! First u/s 8/10

we'll have 4 types of pies this year. dh's families traditional chocolate pie, along with apple pie and I'm bringing a berry pie and I think and cranapple maple.

Cheesecake, lately we've been making a pumpkin one.
Unfortunately this year we're just having pumpkin pie, chocolate pie (MIL) and apple pie-lettes. I want to make a cheesecake, but I think it will be over kill with just 10 people.

My grandma always makes me a yellow cake with chocolate icing. That's my favorite. She makes two - one for me to take home and one for everyone to eat. She also makes the best apple pie (and I don't like pie). She makes pecan, lemon and pumpkin pies too.?

I was trying to find something that was apple pie-ish w/o having to make the whole pie.
Oh and I'm also not making my own dough I'm just going to use the pillsbury roll-out ones and cut the circles from those.

I feel like after all the food, I am never hungry for dessert (which shocking for me having the sweet tooth I normally have).
Last year my stepmom and I made a peanut butter pie and that is our new tradition. Also, for Christmas and Thanksgiving my uncle normally makes red velvet cake or cheesecake and those are always amazing.
