Still no album :(
Hey ladies I need help. My husband and I got married in September of 08 and we still have no album! After our wedding our photographer went through a divorce and communicating with him was difficult. He finally mailed me the final lay-out of the album in early september along with a request for final payment. I sent him an e-mail (since his divorce we only talked through e-mail) explaining that i was suprised he still expected full payment and maybe we could work something out and he has yet to respond, even though I have e-mailed him at least three times since then. Any suggestions???

1. No final payment until you have the album in hand- or I'd negotiate a change in price due to tardiness. That's just rediculous, and unprofessional.
2. Report to the BBB. Again, as a professional, there's absolutely no reason for it to have taken over 2 years to get images.
Brides in my hometown didn't see images/ablums after 9 months to a year and they even got the local news stations involved.
Probably MUD, otherwise, his divorce is not your problem. If you had a signed contract for his services and he didn't follow through, then you could sue him and get a lawyer involved. BBB could help. At the very least, no pmt until the album is delivered- I'm thinking he contacted you b/c he needs the money after the divorce and when he heard you're going to give him a hard time due to the length of time that has passed he balked.
