F/U on everyone's thank you's?
So a few weeks ago we had a thread going about TY's, people confessing they hadn't done them yet (myself being of of them).
I just worked on ours from midnight until about 5 AM (switching around my sleep schedule tonight). As of tonight we had 75 left, and I knocked out 25. DH is OOT tonight, but I assigned him 17 to do, and I'll do the rest. I have a feeling it's going to be like pulling teeth getting him to write them, which is why I didn't give him that many... I learned my lesson on our honeymoon when we did 22 postcard TY's to the bridal party/special family members. It took me 2 hours to do 14, it took him 4 hours to do 8.
We pick our puppy up on Friday November 19th, so I'm saying our goal is to get them in the mail by our 4 month anniversary on November 16th... we need to get them done before the puppy comes because we really won't want to do them then!
What about everyone else? Good progress??

Good for you!! I think you set a good goal to finishing them up, too. Yayyy for a new puppy!!
We only have like 15 left, but we just can't seem to get them done! DH has yet to write ONE. I am leaving him about 8 to do. He always has some excuse lol. And we took the opposite route of you. Since we had written our wedding party thank you's with their gifts, I saved theirs for last. So we mainly have wedding party left.
I must admit...I was absolutely freaking when we hit the 2 month mark and they weren't all done. We busted them out shortly after...so we've had ours all done for a while now. (But we were also an early-July wedding)
My cousins got married on the 31st of July...and I've been a little miffed that they haven't yet sent us a thank you.
So it actually is good to hear that you all don't have them done yet either...reminds me to back off and give them a break! Thanks ladies!
My BIL got married LAST October and we NEVER received a thank you. No thank you for the wedding or the shower.
I am slowly but surely working my way through them! I don't know what I'm going to do about DH's TYs. He is soooo not motivated to write any. My goal is to have them all mailed the week before Thanksgiving. I want to relax that week!! Wish me luck, haha

I have one left, they moved out of the country right after our wedding so I am working on getting their new address.
We got 3 ty notes from people thanking US for our ty note! Two were from people who didn't come to the wedding but sent a gift, so I had sent them a couple pics from the wedding. One was from an elderly couple who said basically, 'Thanks for sending us such a lovely thank you note.'
DH wants to send a note back saying thanks for thanking us for the thank you note and become thank you note pen pals with them.
