I'm going there tomorrow at noon. I hope the wait isn't too long. We are going to a show at 2. I've heard the food was good so it's just the wait I'm worried about.

Call at 1030 to see what the wait is. I heard the lunch crowd is just as bad. We waited for 2.5 hours but it was soooooo worth it

So glad that you ladies got one in Albany. Still our fave in Syracuse. We try to avoid Friday and Saturday nights there, as the wait is still always about 2 hours....or when there is an SU game. We either go for lunch, early dinner or get take-out. They know how to do the take out good so that it tastes good when you get it home. Enjoy!

We are still waiting for the hype to die down a little before we try to go, but I have a feeling that having that place so close is going to be BAD.

I went today. We got there at 11:30 and it opened at 12. We were about 15 people back when we got there. We waited about 15 mintues outside and then they took our name and started letting people in. By noon, we were seated and ordering our food. I thought they were very efficient for all the people that were coming in. In the 15 minutes we waited outside the line at least tripled in size. It wasn't 5 minutes after we ordered our food that it came out. It was delicious! I highly rec. the brisket, maple whipped sweet potatoes and pulled pork. I got a bottle of their sauce to give to my dad too. I highly rec. people show up early if they don't plan on waiting. When we left around 1, there were at least 100 people waiting.

I can't wait to try it there!!!! I am planning on asking to go there for my 5 year anniversary at work. At 5 years management takes you out to lunch, and you get to pick where you want to go.

Glad you ladies like it. I love their pasta salad and french fries so much. Also, I highly recommend them for catering. They are so reasonable and make it so easy. I had them do my sister's baby shower several years ago.

LOVED it!! I've eaten BBQ all over and Dinosaur BBQ is very good. The only place that beats it is The Pit in Raleigh, NC.

We were originally told a 90 - 120 minute wait on Friday night, but after 45 the bartender asked if we wanted to eat there, so we did. All the food was great, as was the sweet tea. Highly recommend the whipped sweet potatoes and fried green tomatoes.

I'm glad it finally made it further east! Like PP said even the 'cuse Dino is a wait almost no matter what time you go. Its worth every minute!

that is what we normally do if the wait becomes obnoxious. I like eating at the bar.
