Please keep your fingers crossed. I've finally gotten to the point where I just can't take my current job anymore. I have officially given myself an ulcer and have had to double my anxiety medicine to make it through and I still breakdown almost everyday. I know my principal/AP's are following orders from above but it is so bad...if it weren't for my students and the health insurance I would have quit right now.
Well, last night I started to do something about it. I started the process of applying for a job with the Department of Defense school system...teaching online at their virtual academy. It would allow for more flexibility, creativity, and "work", better pay, better benefits... and I can be home at least part-time to 3/4 time with Duncan. DODSchools is at the conference I'm at and I was able to talk to the principal of the online school and he wanted my resume and credentials right then and there (had to get Jim fax everything to me last night so I could get it to him this morning) and we sat together today at the luncheon and had a great talk!
It would mean a move to the east coast-- I would be "stationed" out of Quanico, and Jim would have to see if he could get a PCOS (permanent change of station) but I'm hopeful for the first time in a long time when it comes to my job and career.

Good luck! Quantico isn't too far from Summer and myself! We could have play dates if you moved out here.
I'll keep my fingers crossed for you too.

I am sorry you are dealing with all of that at work, a job that has unecessary stressors is the worst!! Good for you being so proactive.
So many new job vibes coming your way and t&p's as well!!!!
I hope it all works out! I know how a bad job situation can make you miserable.
And Quantico is a great area, thankfully you're not in DC's backyard!
