Jacob and I bought our first (fake) Christmas tree last weekend. We were too excited to wait until after Thanksgiving, so we put it up this morning. I also set out my nativity set and another 3' tree.
Now I need to get stuff for my dining room, which is still decorated in yellow/red leaves and candles.
Re: It's Christmastime!
I always wait until the day after Thanksgiving but I'm really itching to put decorations up early this year.
I told Kevin earlier that I might have him take them down from the attic today. (Esp considering he works retail and is NEVER off on Black Friday)
We do the same and it must be big! I can't wait to put it up although this year we are gonna have to move furniture around in order to fit the tree in front of the window!!!
I really can't wait to decorate our palm tree out front! Yes I decorate a palm tree!!!!
YAY!
We don't drag our Christmas decorations out till the weekend after Thanksgiving (when I was little my family didn't do it till I was ready because my birthday is December 10th and wanted to make sure that it was separate from Christmas stuff, but I usually wanted it up before my birthday anyways).
I just hope we can find room in our living room for the tree with our new furniture that we got over the summer.
my grandma's birthday is the 10th too, must be a good day
The 10th is my dad's birthday. I agree it's a good day.
