DH and I want to get a live tree (with the ball) this year for Christmas. Does anyone have an idea of how much a tree like this would cost? I am working on our Christmas budget. Also, Any ideas where to get one on the East side of town? I would prefer to get one from either a boy scout troup, a church, etc vs Lowe's, Home depot, or a big store like that. TIA!
Re: Cost of a live tree?
We go to this one every year:
Spring Grove Farm - Choose and cut your own Christmas trees, living rooted trees,
2088 Bethel-New Richmond Road, New Richmond, OH. Phone: (513)734-4394. Directions: Take I-275 to Ohio 125 east. Turn right on Ohio 222 and right on Bethel-New Richmond Road. Or take I-275 to U.S. 52 east and turn left at third traffic light in New Richmond. Open: Daily Friday to December 23.
Christmas tree varieties:
U-Choose & Cut your own: Scotch and white pine and Norway spruce
easy to get to and its like 30 or 35 bucks. We also used Dirr before and its the same price, I just dont like driving so far. We drive from Newport and its not bad at all. Spring Grove is awesome, not ever crowded, the family that runs it is very nice and they are always happy to help!
