The poor girl has been trying to snag a husband for quite some time now... Far be it for me to judge, I hope it's legit. But honestly, it just seems like she is trying to "have the last word." Terrible timing.
If I were a celebrity looking for love, I would pull a Goldie Hawn/Kurt Russell.
Society wants to see young celebrities party, dress well, plow through hundreds of significant others, write break-up songs, finally date someone seriously, get engaged with a million dollar ring, have a multi-million dollar star-studded wedding, make or adopt a couple of kids, and then have a nasty, much publicized divorce.... Rinse, and repeat. It's sad really.
You forgot the nasty downward spiral into addiction, the crazy drug-induced public display, followed by the arrest for being busted with drugs, some rehab, and then some jail time.

Yeah...totally knew this was going to happen. Why couldn't they get quietly engaged and then she announce it around Christmas or something? Sigh.
Seems like she's trying to upstage her ex. Ridiculous.
His last name is Johnson. He used to play professional football but wasn't very good. His divorced was finalized last month although he and his wife had been separated for quite some time. He is flat broke. He was supposed to move to the east coast to start his MBA (he is actually somewhat intelligent) but stayed in LA to be with Jess.
