I'm making invitations for my sister's bridal shower and I can't figure out how to say that it's being hosted by me and my mom. I know I've seen this on shower invitations, but I can't find a good place for it. So far, I have:
Please join us for a Bridal Shower Luncheon
in honor of our bride to be
SISTER
Saturday, February 5, 2011
12:00 noon
LOCATION
Hosted by her mother, NAME, and her sister, ME
SISTER is registered at Target and Bed Bath and Beyond
RSVP by January 22 to ME at EMAIL or PHONE
Does that sound okay? Or is there a better place for the "hosted by" part? Or should I not even put that? At the very least, I thought people would want to know who they're RSVP'ing to. TIA!
Re: Invitation Wording
Maybe you could say,
"Please join NAME (mother) and YOU (sister) for the Bridal Shower Luncheon in honor of
SISTER
etc."
How about "Please join us for a Bridal Shower Luncheon in honor of our sister, daughter, and bride to be!" Then the RSVP would show your name??
I guess I don't really look at who is hosting but that could just be a personal thing.
