Our 5 yr old DC07 Dyson hadn't been holding suction well for the past couple years, never seemed to pick up all the sand and dirt since we replaced all the carpet in our home with hardwood. I took it to have it serviced and went to pick it up with DH and instead, we came home with a Simplicity Sport to try for a week. It's a 4.5lb canister type that straps to your shoulder (pic below), thought it'd be nice since I mostly only used the hose attachment on the bulky Dyson. So far we love it, we we're probably going to keep it and just get a better floor brush like this Miele one.
They're also offering us $100 off if we also buy an upright model, like the Freedom series F3500, F3600 or F3700. My grandparents have the F3500Commercial so we're going to try that out, but wanted to know if others have had any experience with Simplicity? Depending on the model, they cost more than Dyson, but most have at least 2x CFM air power.
TIA!
