Wow the board's been pretty dead.
This weekend, we were pretty busy. DH ran a 10k and did better than he planned. We decided to bite the bullet and start working on painting inside the house. We've been here since April, and we finally want to get started. We're starting with the kitchen and are painting it a cranberry color.
Yesterday we ate lunch with DH's Grandma and Mom. I love his Grandma; she's just too cute.
Hope the next week and a half goes by quickly! I need some time off.

Mine wasn't too exciting.
Saturday Elise and I went shopping in Monroe with a friend and her little boy. That took the whole day, we didn't get back until like 8:30. By the way, if anyone ever goes to Ruston I went to a really good store there!
Sunday we went to church then packed up stuff and brought to Goodwill. We were going to have a garage sale but it's so much work to tag everything, and never hurts to donate! Last night we finally got around to watching The Blind Side, which was really good!
I'm back today after a 9 day vacation with the husband & baby which was awesome. I hated dropping her off at daycare this morning and may or may not have fought back tears.
This weekend we really just laid low. MrShoe cooked yummy homemade spaghetti yesterday and I worked on N's baby book. We also organized our massive dvd collection (me = dork) and MrShoe's BFF came over on Friday night since we hadn't seen him in months. That's about it.
Which store? Haven't been up there since I graduated, but we're trying to organize a trip sometime soon.
The Beehive. I coulda gotten in some serious trouble in there!! So many cute things, and they had some cute Christmas stuff too. It's a lot of home decor type stuff, but they also had shoes and jewelry.
My weekend was not as I planned. I got a call 4am Saturday that a friend had been picked up for DWI. So my morning consisted of ATMs, bail bondsmen, and EBR prison parking lots. Then Sunday I helped my friend move - for the second time in 3 weeks. Isn't divorce wonderful?
But, LSU played a shut-out game and I got to see it
This is legal advice. Circa 2011
Saturday night we went to New Orleans with friends. Spent Sunday recovering from a horrible hangover and did math homework.
Saturday was fun. Sunday, not so much.
Ooooh yeah! I used to buy jewelry there in college. Cute store. I think I may need to make a stop there when we visit.
