    I didn't realize people used those.  Are those snaps?  Huh.  You learn something new every day.

    yeah, the snap works like the velcro wings of your regular pads. I use cloth now...I will never go back. I've noticed a huge difference in cycle length and flow, not to mention they are so much more comfortable.

    I've never seen any with velcro, only sticky tabs.  Huh.  I'm learning even more! :-)

    I guess I meant sticky tabs, not real velcro.

    I'm not sure how it works. I remember reading some articles about how the chemicals in the pads actually help leech more blood out of your body and help extend cycle length...I got them from someone on EFF...I'll see if I can find them again. I know it was definitely true for me. I've had a really hard time with tampons my entire life (TMI, but they're painful for me to wear), and I've definitely noticed less cramps, less flow and shorter cycles since switching.
