Would anybody be interested in a long distance bake off?

If I posted a recipe of a dessert/cake, would you guys be interested in baking it and posting pics of what you made?

We could give a timeline of a week to get it done and get an outsider to judge the photos. What do you think?

I think that sounds like fun! I don't want to have to buy any new bake ware, though, so can we make it something pretty basic that would be something that a majority of us already have the tools for? Like no creme brulee or anything like that?

I'm totally in!! That sounds like so much fun, and I love to bake. I also agree with aweibe about making something with basic tools. Most of my weekends are open but I will be out of town for Thanksgiving.

We will start off with a totally easy one. All you need is a baking tray and something to mix eggs with, like a electric hand beater thing.

Will we book it in for the week the 6th of December? You will have until the 12th to do it and post the photo. And if it goes well maybe we can do one every month. Winner picks the next recipe.
