Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I guess they were reviewing the pay scale, and it's a big range and he's on the lower end of it now, so I am *hoping desperately* that they bump him up a little, but I guess the work has been started to bring him on full time. they have to post the job and do all that, but he's been there as a contract employee nearly a year, so this is good.
breathing normally for now... but if the pay is really crappy, he may consider just seeing what's out there.
This is good news...I just hope it stays positive...

That's truly what we're trying to figure out. I think it would be more, which is great. The way H is though, he thinks realistically to borderline pessimistically and than sees what happens...and is scared they will lower his salary...I don't see that happening though.

Good point, I seem to think along these lines to be safe it seems. I do hope they at least keep him at the pay scales he's at - I can't imagine it being less, especially when you factor in full-time benefits and such.
