happy Monday/bragging day
Morning ladies! Its Monday!
I really should not be this peppy since I'm unbelievably stuffed up.
So I decided that since its Monday and Monday's are usually crappy, you must brag about something today. Big, small, simple, silly, whatever. But you must brag.
Mine are:
- H couldn't sleep last night which resulted in him making me breakfast in bed this morning.
- I quit smoking. It's been 2 day and I have no interest in picking up another cigarette at all.

- I woke up snuggling two idiot boxers last night ... hated waking up in the middle of the night but it was the best way to do it!
- My week this week is MUCH less busy than last week ... thank goodness!
- My older boxer, Dr. Annie Pupperstein, has a big birthday today! After all the shoes she's eaten, the garbage cans she's tipped over, and the special puppy things she's done, I'm bragging she lived this long! LOVE that dog!
I love my puppy ... and my husband, I swear!

My brag... I sold wedding stuff this weekend for a grand total of $147. Not even a drop in the bucket compared to what we paid, but it's something to go towards our new TV we're hoping to pick up on BF.
Morning everyone!! First day back at work after the honeymoon - daydreaming of sun & sand & relaxation, and it's only 9 am!!
(Congrats on quitting, LTB - a huge victory - you can do it!)
- We got serious upgrades when we arrived at Antigua - from our piddly room to a full-on suite (if it's normal to get upgraded, don't tell me - I want to feel special).
- Got pro pics from the photog over the weekend too, so even coming home was fun since there were presents!
- My ankles didn't swell on the way home...I had serious ham hocks when we arrived in Antigua, so this was a huge victory for my poor tootsies.
- Only 4 more days of work since I'm off the week of Thanksgiving too!
Okay, I"m done now.
I arrived at work 15 minutes earlier than normal this morning which is really good for me especially on a Monday.
DH also surprised me Saturday night and showed up at my parents house. LOVED that!
Oh and all bills are paid and I get paid this week so might get a tv fon BL afterall.

Had a dream I was queen.
Woke up. Still queen.
I also woke up snuggling a boxer (well a half boxer anyway). I love the way she smells in the morning. Is it bad that I hug and kiss her first before the hubby in the mornings?
I FINALLY started getting checks from my clients. It's been a solid two months since I've gotten paid for any of my projects. It's nice not watching everything like a hawk anymore.
I'm only working two days this week. My mum and uncle are in the country and we are taking them to a show on broadway.
Yay! wow, I didn't realize I had so much to be happy about. Good call on the thread topic.

Morning ladies!
I didn't wake up to a snuggling boxer, just a snuggly pug. She's been sleeping like a human lately: head on pillow, body under covers, one paw hanging out the top of the comforter, on her side. Too cute. Tried to snap a pic yesterday, but it didn't turn out.
Went on a major shopping spree on Saturday, but when I was trying on an outfit, two women in the dressing room area decided to copy me cuz the outfit looked fab.
Made chili in the crock for tonight, really excited, it's our first chili venture. And it's sans meat, so DH will eat it. Plus it just started snowing, so perfect night for chili.
Decided to brine a turkey for Thanksgiving, thanks to Pdub and the fam is really excited to try it.
Got to rock the Thriller dance and a Beat It face off in Zumba yesterday. Coolest.morning.ever.
LTB-congrats and good luck on the quitting. I "quit" every weekend since my ciggy dealer is at work. But I'm also going to stick with it now that the snow/cold is officially here and the Zumba is taking off. We can commiserate together...

-DH washed the dishes last night!!
-I woke up this morning and realized the DH emptied the dishwasher and remembered his lunch! I was and still am very very happy.
-Our sidewalk is done so we can pass inspection
-Our living room just needs to be spackled and sanded then we can paint!!
Today is the opening day of deer hunting and the kids have today and tomorrow off of school, it is eerily quiet in town since everyone is out at camp.
- this past weekend was the first weekend I got paid for skating!
- I actually have motivation to get some stuff done around the house today and am hoping to have time to put some boneless country style ribs in the crockpot for DH's dinner tonight.
- I lost 7 lbs. in the last maybe 2 weeks!
- I am working a lot this week and am happy about it...a nice change to being kind of bored.
- Went to a birthday party yesterday and got loads of compliments on my famous cheeseball appetizer that I brought
- DH brought me home flowers and my favorite snack out of the blue last Wednesday
- DH and I are going to see the Rocketts with my parents and sister on Saturday!!

My Brag:
- Got our wedding video/DVD on Friday. Problem is I can't figure out how to upload it! Will work on that today while DH is at work tonight.
-Went to my dad's for dinner last night and he made Chile Verde and homemade flour tortillas just for me! I love my dad. I had 6 flour tortillas so I definately need to jump on the treadmill tonight!
Happy Monday..
-I finished my shutterfly wedding photobook last night. And had a 50% off coupon so the total was only 46$ and then H offered to pay for it so that was a nice little treat.
-Had a nice meal with H last night of some super spicy hot wings. We were burning our mouth together and it was halarious!
Congrats on the smoking Nichole, I quit myself a few years ago after smoking for 12 years and it felt freaking awesome.
My brag:
-I winterized all of the front flower beds, backyard flowers and summer yard items all by myself this weekend. I hate doing that shiz.
-I came in to work this morning and really REALLY did not want to.
