Okay people --- I have to get all my family's holiday gifts this week since we are going there for Thanksgiving and won't see them again for Christmas or hanukkah.
mom and dad I'm giving their parent album so that's easy -- but I'm stuck on something for my sis and BIL, as well as their kids (two boys 9 and 7, one girl 5)
HELP
Re: Gift ideas

For nieces/nephews, we just ask the parents what they need. Wii games and accessories have always been popular, this year I got my niece (she's 8) jewelry, because she's becoming oh so grown up.
I am a fan of giving wine, Amazon gift cards and spafinder.com gift cards when I'm stuck.
I also have a 5 YO girl to shop for this year. We are getting her books, a Barbie set and girly stuff (nail polish, lip gloss, barretts). For the boys, Legos are usually a hit along with video games or board games. You could always do pjs too for the kids. The boys might also like things like matchbox cars.
My sis and bil are big LSU fans so I think we're getting them something along those lines. Maybe you can get them something like that?
I always like to give/receive homemade gifts too. Last christmas we made everyone (well, the adults) lemoncello and it was a big hit! Maybe you can make some yummy goodies for them?
Let us know what you do!
Good ideas everyone - thank you!!
We were actually going to make limoncello but never got around to buying all the stuff - plus it's illegal to mail it apparently and we won't see everyone in person.
I've been harassing my sister daily to give me ideas for the kids and she keeps forgetting to call me back!!! I'll stalk her again tonight
My almost 8 year old nephew is really into sports (Phillies, Eagles), so I always end up getting him something sports related. As for the little girl, there are so many things. I know my niece was big into Barbies and other dolls (like Bratz) around that age.
It gets harder when they get older, I'm giving my teenaged niece and nephew cash because that's all they want!
