I want to SCREAM!
the week before we left for vacation we had our furnance serviced, the following week I noticed it leaking, they came to fix it last Friday. Well Saturday morning before we leave for our trip we have no hot water or heat! So at 4:30 am before our trip I can't shower... So they come Saturday while MIL was here and they get the heat going, but for some reason no hot water, so now after a week of being gone we don't have hot water still, I"ve been waiting for someone to show up they keep saying they'll be there in 30 minutes... UM I NEED HOT WATER TO SHOWER, do laundry, run the dishwasher etc. I have a suitcase full of clothes, I was traveling for 12 hours yesterday!!! I am so fed up!
Everytime they touch our furnance something happens.... We are looking for a new oil company

you can do the laundry. it is better for your clothes to be washed in cold anyway :-) I only use cold water except for sheets and towels.

I do our whites in Hot, but yes you are right, so get this
IT WAS A VALVE!! Seriously the guy came and just flipped a switch and it was all set, he didn't even need to get his flashlight! I wanted to scream, it wasn't his fault the other guy was an idiot, but seriously, DH took a cold shower this am and my MIL was here on Saturday w/ no hot water etc..
