I can honestly say I've never heard a song by Ke$ha, but just having the $ in the middle of her name makes me want to kick her.
Katy Perry makes me want to stick pins in my ears. I can't effing stand the California Girls song and the way it gets stuck in my head and then makes me even more upset b/c I hate it.
I don't really do the Top 40 music anyway. Give me Indie or Bluegrass over that crap any day.
Ugh...I can't stand this song either. It's a disgrace to all California Girls.
Aren't they both performing or hosting on a music awards show, or some type of other show?

I'm a HUGE Katy Perry fan (seriously, WTF is up with her marrying russell brand) and I love Kesha, too.
Don't get me wrong, Kesha is a trash bag with no vocal talent whatsoever. She's autotuned like WHOA. (When H and I are grocery shopping and we pass the trash bags section which has a sign I always say "They sell Kesha here?")
Most of their music makes me want to get up and shake my booty. Or cracks me up (like Your Love is my Drug, HYSTERICAL). Katy's new song about fireworks makes me roll my eyes.
I loooooooove bad music. Love it. Britney Spears? Love her. N*Sync, BSB? Love them. Hanson? Omg, LOVE THEM.
I also love that song "Like a G6". One line is "sober girls aroun' me, dey be ac'in like dey drunk" LOVE IT.
I like good music, too. I swear.

I think at the AMA. After they get back from Australia. Don't ask me how I know this..ha-ha. One of my cousins is on tour with Ke$ha as a background dancer so I looked at his schedule. She pays him pretty good for dancing (more than I make in a month!) and covers his travel expenses and food stipend plus he gets to see the world.

I hate myself for liking Ke$ha. Her inane lyrics make me want to put my head through a wall, but for some reason when I hear her songs I just have to car-dance, and I get so into it. I'm really disappointed in myself.
I'm not embarrassed to like Katy Perry though.
