Holiday question
So my I got an email from my mom asking me what I want for Christmas. I have no clue. I am having the hardest time coming up with something.
Leading me to this question what do you want for Christmas/Hanukkah?

I haven't made up much of a list yet, but really just some magazine subscriptions (mostly cooking related) and an immersion blender.
I'm exciting.
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?
I'm angling for a black leather purse from Etsy that I've been watching for about a year. Also wouldn't mind some tall boots in brown. I've been budgeting fiercely these past few months, so a gift certificate to LOFT would be awesome, too.
From my parents, I think I'm going to just tell them a Target gift card would be great. We're going to get a new Dyson soon, so the gc will help offset the cost a bit.
So far we've told our parents Fiestaware or GC's. We're lame.

sheesh, i really haven't thought about it... normally it'd be random house stuff or things I just generally don't feel like buying for myself (last year I asked for sonicare toothbrushes) I guess I'll just request that any gifts be deferred for baby goods once we are out of the 1st tri and actually have a clue of what we want/need....

When did we all get old and boring?!
B and I decided months ago that we were each getting each other Kindles for Hannukah. I'm super excited about it. I can't imagine I'll get anything from anyone else. My family stopped giving gifts years ago, probably cause we're lazy, and I'm an only child, and I never really cared that much.
Ringy -- I totally want an ipad too, but I don't want it for reading, and I already have a MacBook. It's totally excessive for me, and I just can't justify it.
Ditto Aunt B -- not quite sure when we got old and boring.
Eva -- happy belated bday.
The new Kindle is first on my list. I also want a smartpeople (?) trashcan for the kitchen. Ours is white and looks disgusting after a few days of touching it and getting dirt all over it from the dogs. I also asked for some snoopy stuff and tons of books. I can't stop reading now that I have the time for it. DH and I are probably going to do one gift for both of us. I think it'll be a new microwave to install over the stove. I can't wait to have that counter space back. I'm praying we have enough clearance. His parents are buying us ceiling fans for our bedroom and living room, new end tables for the living room and a hutch to match the new cabinet in the kitchen/dining room. I'm sure his brother and SIL will pitch in on that stuff.
I usually just add stuff to an amazon wish list all year long so I don't have to think about it when the time comes. I'm never at a loss for crap I don't need but really want.
