I had a pretty nice few days. Friday night played volleyball at an open gym with DH and got some exercise in.
Saturday day we went for a walk and did a bunch of errands and just loved the weather. We even hung Christmas lights on a couple of our bushes outside because we wanted to take advantage of it being warm out to do that
. It's the first year I've actually motivated to do outdoor lights and I'm irrationally excited about it. Don't worry, we're not actually going to start turning them on until after Thanksgiving!
Sunday afternoon we brought my grandpa over to our place (he lives in a nursing home) for lunch and to just hang out for a few hours. Then it was on to more volleyball and socializing with friends/fellow players.

Re: How was your weekend, ladies?
Lots of people hung their lights this weekend!
We went out Friday night to a restaurant we liked so much we booked it for the baby's baptism luncheon. Then Saturday we met friends for breakfast, then ran a ton of errands (which wore me out so I had to take a nap). Dinner at a friend's house on Saturday night.
Yesterday- I christmas shopped and got my ILs done. I have to mail their box next week so that is perfect timing.
We were supposed to go out to dinner to celebrate our wedding anniversary last night but DH had a bad headache so we changed the reservation to tonight instead!
Happy Anniversary! Sorry I didn't get around to responding to your last e-mail but I hope you guys have a great time celebrating tonight.
Mine was pretty uneventful.
Friday night DH and I actually had a night where we both didn't have to work. We went to Da Vinci's in the theatre district for dinner. Very nice (especially the pumpkin ravioli and aroncini).
Saturday morning I went to Boloco in Medford to visit the IL's, then went off to work.
Sunday I had the day off and went over to my parents since DH was working. My mom and I baked up some veggies (butternut squash, parsnips, carrots and radishes) for dinner; along with some pinto beans and couscous. Not exciting, but a very delicious dish.
i had a fairly quiet weekend. H was gone to a bachelor party friday and saturday night so i had the house to myself.
saturday i went shopping with a friend all day and we found some good deals so that was nice. i was a little sad that i was inside shopping all day and not out enjoying the weather though. and then i went home and watched a few hours of cat related shows on animal planet. lol.
sunday H finally came home and we went to see his parents for a little while and then just hung out at home for the rest of the night.
so i didn't do much, but boy did the weekend fly by.
Happy anniversary!
We had some people look at our house Saturday, and did an open house on Sunday so we were busy with that. Unfortunately none of the people that came to see our house want to buy it. Ha ha ha We had dinner with friends on Saturday night We got to take the dog out hiking a ton since we can't be at home while someone views it..so that was really nice.
I'm glad you got your open house (even if it didn't bring you a buyer!) Do you have any more scheduled?
Happy Anniversary, Punky!
