Tickets are $15 but then it's 50 cent tasting tickets and I have no idea how many tickets you'd need to make it worthwhile. I got a press pass so I'm going sometime this weekend.
Only if we win tickets.
Goodgollie, we went two years ago, and it ended up being a lot of money for not very much food/drink. The $15 tickets per person don't do anything except get you in the door! We had a decently fun time, but it was not worth the cost and we haven't been back since.
I received information about the event through work. According to the material that I received, they recommend that you purchase at least $20 in tasting tickets.
good to know!
So they are recommending you spend $70 for it to be worthwhile? Hmm. I think I'd rather go to one of the beer and food pairing dinners at Graydon's Crossing. Anyone ever been? They are SO much fun.
We went the first year when it was a little cheaper. I was the only one tasting back then (DH didn't like beer or wine). We were planning to go this year, but now that it is $30 just for us to walk through the door, and then we'll both want to sample, I'm not sure it is worth it. Maybe if it were a fundraiser like the GVSU ones, I'd do it, but I hate just throwing $30 away on nothing. We could go for a nice dinner on that!
So I don't know. I haven't heard from DH what he wants to do yet.
