Today is an ok day. I officially ceased hormonal birth control on the weekend (not TTC for a while) so we're starting this whole charting thing. Which would be great, except that my brain is stupid and keeps waking me up to make sure I get enough sleep to get an accurate temp reading. Yeah, totally backwards. I don't feel overly tired, but the last few nights I've woken up several times through the night. Stupid body.
Tonight we're off shopping for hardwood flooring.

Good Morning, Ladies. Just working today, and really looking forward to being off next week. Shopping for flooring sounds like fun, raynes. I detest my carpet, but we haven't decided what to do about it.

Today is a busy work day. I have my "focus day" sign already up in my cubicle and have been at it since 6:30 a.m. this morning.
I am going to lunch with some old coworkers today, but I am not sure what I am going to eat. I convinced myself I do need to be good, and going out to eat is not an excuse to eat badly. We are going to a local seafood place where more of the food is fried. However after searching the menu, I might have to get broiled chicken or haddock.
Ryan is taking the boys to their 4 month appointment today. I am sad I can't be there, but I am running out of Paid time off, and really want to save it for a vacation right after Christmas. I am excited to hear how much they weigh. Zach is such a tubba. (that is what I call him)
Tonight is my Tuesday night Zumba, which I am looking forward to. I really need the workout.

lol with the charting raynes - I've been exactly like the whole time I've been charting, but my temps were still surprisingly consistent. I'm sure you'll be fine. Yay for being off BCP!
I have a busy day at work as I was asked yesterday to put together a short presentation for this afternoon. But other than that, I think I'll just laze around this evening and possibly bake something. I haven't had enough lazing time in the past few weeks.

Morning ladies! Yay for being off BCP. I'm not there yet, but I can't wait for the day I no longer have to take it. I'm really not a fan of it generally, but it's a necessary evil in my life I guess.
Anyway, my day is gonna be nuts, again. Yesterday I worked late, and today I came in early and will have to work late. I had a closing yesterday and two more on Thursday. Basically, I'm going to be swamped until the end of the year, which as much as the hours are kinda bad, it's encouraging to know that the real estate market has picked up enough to keep me busy.
Raynes - ditto Ringy, don't worry about the temps... if you are TTA, you just want to see the general patterns and waking up, etc most likely wont change your temp by such a degree your chart will be off. Just be sure to try to take in within the same 20min time frame everyday and you should def see a pattern. Mine were never textbook or clear as day, but it was easy enough to tell when things changed.
Its rainy and gross here. P is working from home because we have another bird stuck in our dryer vent and the HVAC guy is coming (seriously?!)... I'm jealous bc I want to be snuggled in sweats on the couch.... I ate so much yesterday, so I packed a bunch of food today so I don't have to run out in the rain for a second lunch... a bigger tub of homemade veggie soup for lunch, some cantalope, and homemade hummus and crackers... yum!

I've got a packed schedule today and tomorrow I won't be in school so I need to prep all of tomorrow's lessons before I leave tonight.
This is clearly one of those weeks where I don't leave before 6 pm each day. =( I was hear forever last night because I'm trying to get a kid transfered to the spec ed class (he has severe ADHD, the reading level of a 4th grader [he's in grade 7], and the writing level of a 3rd grader). We are not doing him any services by keeping him in the regular stream without some kind of EA support. Anyway, there are a ton of roadblocks in the way, and I'm trying to remove them so he can get some help next year.
In the time that I started writing that, I developed a headache. Awesome.
I'm supposed to go see a movie with friends tonight, but I really don't want to go.

I was out at a work thing last night and may have had a little too much to drink, so woke up this morning with a nasty headache. It's finally faded a bit, but I'm still looking forward to heading home this evening. Nothing really going on - just cooking fish for dinner and maybe catch up with my mom.

Good morning! Today I'll be working mostly on a presentation we're giving in a month about our work in the South Pacific. Then it's off to my book club (if it doesn't get canceled). We read A Reliable Wife for this month. Kind of a meh book overall. It didn't make an impression. If our meeting's canceled, I'm going home to watch the latest episode of The Walking Dead (and try not scream when H walks in the door midway through the episode).
I'm also buying the second piece of my Nestie's Secret Santa gift.
Shopping is so much fun.

Priceless! I love it. Wait until you are TTC and you get your BFP. I remember the look I got when I went to the store that day and bought a package of regular pregnancy tests and then digitals. You know because peeing only onte time is not enough. You do have to take like 5 tests to be sure. LOL
I'm back from the doctor and it went ok. Now we just have to wait and see.
I have an appalling headache and can only take Tylenol, which generally does nothing for me. I hoping that a Diet Coke along with it will take the edge off.
It is rainy and gross here, too, and I would rather be anywhere than work.

I'm fighting off a 3 day migraine. I'm done with BCP as of tomorrow. Then it will be nasty period week and freedom! I'm hoping that these headaches were hormone related and will go away for the most part once I'm done with BCP. Hopefully charting will go okay since this girl loves to sleep. I think I've been assuming that charting was stupid since I was still on BCP and slacked off. Hopefully my attitude will change now that I know it's for real. I'm just so glad to not have the added monthly expense and can just enjoy no hormones for a while. We are TTC, so that makes this even more nerve wracking. Anyone else have a freak out moment of "can we really do this?"
Rebaan, sending you tons of baby dust that this is it. Hopefully your headache goes away. Tylenol is pointless for me, too, so I usually take PM so it will knock me out in the process. I realize it's not so good for a work day. Sorry.
Yay for going off BC! I can't wait for more Aug09 babies.

Tonight we're going to the hospital to meet our newest family member. J's cousin had a beautiful little girl last night. Lillian Dru 7lbs 15oz full head of dark curls! Can't wait to meet her!
Seems everyone's going of BC and here I am stock-pilling it before one of my prescriptions runs out!
I'm not a fan of today. My dad is having surgery on his shoulder/neck this morning and I hate being so far away and not able to help with anything. I'm trying to pass the time by working, but I'm beyond frustrated with this project and just want it to be over. I'm really just staring at my phone, checking my texts constantly waiting to hear from my mom.

I don't have a whole lot going on today. I have a cold that I'm trying to get rid of.. it's settling in my sinuses and it is not fun. Other than that I am working for a new company and management has been visiting my office everyday which is annoying. Don't forget that you could go off BC and still avoid babies for now. We're going off BCP in the thought that if it happens, then great! We're not technically going baby crazy just yet.
I actually have to use the BC to help manage my periods and pain.It's been a long battle, but the docs and I have agreed its probably best until we do decide to TTC. Thanfully we have good insurance and I don't pay anything out of pocket for it.
Well that makes sense then. Don't mind me.
