We closed!! PIP
We finally closed on both the sale of the condo and the purchase of the house today!! I had to give my husband power of attorney b/c I am out of town for work... but... we have a house!!! The movers are there now with all of our belongings that were in the condo. The movers will be there with all my belongings later in the week!
My commute will now be all of 15 minutes... with traffic!! It had been at least an hour most days!!
PIP isn't working- I'll post a pic later.
It's bigger than it looks! It's a 3 BR, 2BA, 1950s ranch with a HUGE finished basement, and a deep backyard (esp. for the neighborhood).

How exciting! Congratulations!
That is a great commute. When we moved, DH's commute went from an hour and 15 minutes to about 20. He feels like he has gained 2 hours in the day and loves having the time at home! Enjoy it!

Thanks everyone! We will be going from a 650 sq ft, 1 BR loft to more than double that. Which is great, since all my belongings are still in storage in Ohio, wedding presents are in my mom's basement in Ohio, and I have been living out of 2 suitcases since we got married
Which means I think I will purge lots of clothes and "stuff" I have lived without as we unpack.
