very TMI OBGYN Q. Will probably dd later. =P
How bad is it to have an annual GYN exam at the end of one's AF? Will they not blink an eye or is it totally gross or not even possible to do the exam/pap/etc? If it makes a difference, my AF should be pretty light by then.
I've been trying to get in to have my annual for over a month now and of course I realize this week that it's very possible that AF will not be over by my appt tomorrow morning. I just called to see if I could reschedule for later in the week or next week and they don't have anything until December. I miss the days when my Dr. was new to the practice and had tons of availability!

If you're just doing a pelvic without a Pap test, the end of your period should be fine. The problem with doing the Pap is that it will be hard to get a clean sample (blood can obscure the results.)
