question about paypal and MO fund

I had given a donation, but when it showed up on my bank statement, it wasn't the same as what I donated. Does paypal take a cut by doing a transfer?

They do take a cut of whatever you transfer. I'm not a fan of it but I guess it's just their way of trying to be like a bank and have fees or something.

If your paypal is linked to a bank account I don't think it does. If you have it linked to a credit card, I think it charges a $2 fee or something like that.

When you were setting everything up it said that you can add the percentage to what you are donating so it is still an even number, or you can have it taken out of the money that you donated.

I thought it was odd, because even if paypal takes a cut, it still should have been higher than what I had donated, not lower. It was like it put in the wrong amount or something. I'll have to take a look at it. Thanks ladies.

Maybe you had some money left in your paypal account? So it took that, and then the remaining amount from your bank account? I'm not sure...
