Anyone know of a place that teaches knitting?
Re: knitting classes?
I don't have any experiences w/ these places but a quick google search got me the following ones:
http://www.fiberge.com/
This one is from someone's blog, all local:

HTH!
I don't know of any classes but I recently started loom (circle) knitting. It's pretty easy to teach yourself. There are some pretty good books that teach you the basics and the Lion Yarn website has tons of videos, instructions and free patterns.
I'm currently working on an afghan as my second project (the first was a scarf) and so far it looks amazing!
Good luck and enjoy!
Most of the local yarn stores have classes or lessons. I don't know what part of town you are in to recommend a LYS to check out.
Also, there are knitting groups that meet all over greater cincinnati on specific days of the week - at paneras, starbucks, etc.
There are also a lot of resources on the internet to teach yourself to knit. Knitty and Knittinghelp have been very helpful to me - I taught myself.
Ravelry.com is also a good resource - it's kind of like facebook for knitting and crocheting.
