I'm going to make your sugar cookies soon, and I wanted to pick your brain. I've bought cookie cutters in the shapes of swing states for my elections return party. That's on a Tuesday night. How far in advance can I make the cookies? If I make them on Sunday, will they stay fresh tasting for Tuesday night?
It looks like you made a zillion cookies. Do you know about how many it made? How big were your cookie cutters? They look like they might be smaller than mine. I'm wondering if I should double the batch.

My swing state cookie cutters are very cute, though they are not exactly to scale. Ohio is bigger than Nevada.
I found a cake supply store that sells the gel food colorings so I am all set for my patriotic cookies!
