...start thinking good, smart, Twilight-y thoughts for me.
I have my Master's Thesis Defense at 11:30 a.m. PST.
Here's the deal: our department's defenses are more what they like to call "critical conversations." I still need to defend my work and answer a lot of questions, but the "pass/fail" aspect isn't as dire as it is in some departments. We defend with the knowledge/intention of having time to do revisions to the document before we submit it to the library. HOWEVER, tomorrow does still determine whether or not the committee thinks I will be able to revise before the end of this semester (it's due in our library on December 8) or if they want me to take ANOTHER semester (for which they just raised tuition 5%...ugh...) to do more research/writing.
So, tomorrow won't be the "end" of the thesis writing process, but tomorrow will determine if I only have one month left or if I have another semester (and about $5,000 to spend). I'm really, really, really, really ready to be done with this project and graduate, so good thoughts for the first option would be much appreciated!!!
