I side eye anyone who's facebook status says something similar to "Love my life"
It's like they're trying too hard to convince someone else that they're happy. Too deliberate.
Re: Confession
The only time I gushed about E on FB was when I was sick as a dog & he went running all over creation to bring me meds & food & stuff. Most times, my updates aren't about him at all.
Does that make me a crappy wife?

If it's not on FB, it's NOT TRUE!
Conversely, putting something on FB automatically makes it true, thus the "I love my life" posts from people you know are miserable.
I have a friend that posts "love my life" posts every.damn.day. Or "I'm so awesome" or "I couldn't be happier!" Drives me bananas.
I also have a guy friend who is constantly telling his girlfriend how much he loves her, or what a great dad he is. Give me a break.
The proof is in the pudding, not how often you say how great you are.

I confess that I really want to post on FB that I LOVE MY LIFE - jsut for Marcy.
I don't really post anything about DH either. Every once in awhile, maybe, but frequently no.

Sono showed no baby and teeny tiny sac. Waiting to M/C naturally.
I'd totally do it...but then, a million people will "like" my status, defeating the purpose of putting that for sh!ts and giggles.
I have one friend who does that...and it makes me wonder just what exactly is going on, because she goes from one end of the spectrum to another. I don't like it, either...gets annoying.
I used to gush about H when we were dating...but I quit doing that because it got annoying to me, so I knew it'd be annoying to everyone else. Now, most of my updates are about JJ or completely random. H actually asked me the other day why I don't gush about love on FB...um, honey, we're not in HS anymore. Those days are gone.
Me too, maybe tomorrow.
I will give D a shout out every now and then. Also I have a friend who always posts this miserable woe is me kind of things, but tonight she did I love my life....really????

I don't do the, I love my life sh*t...but I do tend to tag Jes or my friends from time to time...like had a great time walking with @Sally Sue. Thank you @Jesse V for making veggie soup...
I'm a fan of that feature...
Jesse's step-mom's updates are so *insert finger in mouth
She posted a hideous pic of FIL and said, this is the sexiest man alive and he's all mine!!!!!
Now keep in mind, this woman is like 12 years younger, she was the "other woman" and Jesse hates her guts...
here is another (every Friday we get an update)
Well we all know what day it is, and what it means so I won't bore you with the gory details, I'll just say 56 mins until our night begins....can't wait to be with my man....
I get sh!t all the time from friends saying my statuses are too negative (and sometimes about work)...ha ha ha...Does that mean my life is awesome?
I kid...
I know what you mean. Sure, i'll give a what up or shout to people when I want- but I don't think (pls correct me if I am just dense and forgetting) I do the I love my life crap.
This girl I know does that-- she just did the other day after she found out she was having a girl in a few months...and she has a little boy who is about 1.5 and been married for about 2 years. So I'm now wondering if really she loves her life or is more...scared shitless for 2 kids under 2 and rushing into a family...and yes I'm judging.
No!
My sister does that sh!t all the time with the I love my life statuses. No one cares.
I have it in my About Me that I love my life (or that it's awesome or something to that effect) and it's totally deliberate. I really hope I have facebook stalkers that I don't talk to anymore that look at my sh!t and are like "hey, her life is awesome." And to that I say...yes it is. And if they say "hey, she's telling me her life is awesome...I wonder if it really is or she's just saying that" I say dude, quit stalking me on facebook, obviously you think I'm awesome.
