Where to donate in york or lancaster county?
Hi everyone! FI and I are looking for our first home and are preparing for the move in advance by cleaning up our stuff and getting rid of anything we don't want or probably won't have the space for.
I have a TON of stuffed animals that he has bought me over the last 2 years. I hate to part with any of them but he says I'm going to have to. He thought it would be nice to donate them to a Children Hospital or Home so we could pass on the love, and just let me choose a few to keep. Does anyone know of somewhere that would take these? They are all like new, just sat an a huge rocker that i have in my bedroom.

I'm not sure of a specific place, but you could check with a local fire company. I have heard that they take donations to keep for children that are in fires, accidents, etc. HTH.
The Junior League of York has a holiday toy sale coming up, you can drop off any donations at the at the offices at 166 West Market St.

Salvation Army? They have a thrift store (think Goodwill) at 1244 Manheim Pike in Lancaster.
