New Furniture!
So DH and I went to the furniture store today with no intentions of buying. We just wanted to look at prices and what they had to offer. Currently, we have hand-me-downs from my parents in the living room, and it's not at all our style. We'd been talking about getting our own living room furniture for a while now, and with the sales going on this month, we decided to give it a look.
Well, we ended up walking out with an AMAZING deal on a wonderful chocolate brown micro suede sectional and 2 cherry wood end tables. The sectional used to be $3000, but we got it for $998, and the end tables were $100 off each, too! The Veteran's Day sale, plus the Black Friday sale price (which they gave us early), brought our grand total to just under $1500. The deal was just too good to pass up, and the sectional is SOOOOO comfy! We should get them in about 2 weeks, and I can't wait! Our house will finally start to feel more like ours with furniture that we picked out in it!

H and I still have a hand-me-down couch,actually a loveseat, and I hate it. I can't wait until we can shop for our own! Unfortunately the layout in our apartment is a little weird, so a large couch would take up too much room, and we don't feel like we should spend the money on just a loveseat, so we'll have to wait. Ah well.
That sounds like a great deal!
We actually bought a new bed this weekend and it is wonderful to have new furniture!
