I just thought I would throw this out there. This is what I did last year when Ryan and I announced our pregnancy at Christmas. We put this in a picture frame and wrapped it up for my side of the family.
This Christmas we have a special present to share,
This is a gift that requires extra love and care.
It's not bright and shiny, or wrapped in a bow,
We just know that you'll treasure and love it so.
You may be wondering where this gift might be,
Since as you can see this box is empty.
Well, you can't play with this present today,
Because it hasn't arrived yet I'm sorry to say.
This gift is special and needs time to grow,
The wait is well worth it we want you to know!
In August your surprise wil be ready for you,
Because that is when baby Girl-23 is due!
Of course you would change the month and name.
For Ryan's family he wanted to do the lets do a family picture, and he held the camera and said everyone say, "Kathy and Ryan are going to have a baby." Then captured their reaction on camera.
