Polishing silver while pregnant?
Hi Cleaning and Organizing,
Hope it is okay that i'm popping by again -- I haven't been on here in a while. I had a random question and thought someone here might know...
Can you use silver polish while you are pregnant? If not, is there a safe alternative or should I just ask my husband to do it?
Thank you!!!
Also, the "cleaning and organizing" reminded me I just did a big blog post on our mini closet makeover and reorganization -- would love to hear what you think if you had a moment!

Thanks so much!

Re: Polishing silver while pregnant?
If you can avoid using silver polish while pregnant, all the better.
That said, using a white toothpaste is just as good as using silver polish, and perfectly safe.
Looks great! And I'm so glad you decided to share
I've been having a hard time figuring out what to do with all my sweaters. We use those cubby storage shelves for our DDs' toys but I never thought to use them for sweaters. It really is a perfect way to organize them! Thanks. I think I'm going to have to "steal" your idea
Lurker here...
I've used this method for jewelry. You could try it on your silverwear.
Line a pyrex dish with tin foil, lay silver pieces on foil, sprinkle with baking soda. Boil water and pour over until it coves the pieces. Let stand for 10 minutes. Drain water/remove pieces, rinse pieces, and dry with a soft cloth.
