Greetings, ladies..I've been lurking the past couple days but haven't had much chance to respond to posts since I've been keeping so busy at work! I feel like I have better control over things at work and at home and with my health so I've been feeling much better.
I'm going to give my job a go until the end of the fiscal year (so another 6, 7 months) to reassess how I feel about this place. I've been a really sh!tty employee, so I want to see if I'm going to get back what I give. If so, things should improve. If not, I'll start looking around.
C and I talked Sunday night about all the stuff that has been bothering me. I used the tools I got from Crucial Conversations (the workshop I had to go to work for last week, lol) and it actually worked. Very impressive. Things have been really good the past couple days and he's been much more helpful and understanding.
Today I fit easily into a pair of pants that have always been kind of iffy on whether or not they'll fit (even pre-pg)...I measured and have lost an inch off my waist and my hips. Finally- they were stagnant for a month even though I was losing weight! I'm actually excited to weigh myself on Friday.
I hope everyone is doing well- I'm thinking about you all!

How can you say you've "finally" lost off your waist and hips when your baby is, what, 7 weeks old? I didn't even start slimming down until months later. I think you've got some really good genes! Lucky!
