All the good news wore people out this morning I guess. I'm so bored at work that I've been comparing cable and dish network prices. I think we might finally make the switch. I'm praying that the people before us had the satellite company that we want, because there's already a dish on our roof. I'd hate to screw in another one. Plus, maybe it'd be one less thing to pay for.
Thankfully, only a little more than an hour to go and then I can nap and head to yoga for the night. I could use some relaxation in my life....and maybe a new job. I'm so jealous of you Amie!
Re: where'd everybody go?
I used to hate when an old coworker did this. It not only made him look unprofessional, but me as well, considering we were in the same office. I don't understand the cell phone craze. What on Earth do people talk to other people about all day? ...that you can't do online of course.
I hate that! I will not go through a line while on my phone. I will end the call or roam around until I'm done. I find it very rude.
I've been here on and off all day. I was planning on going home around noon but still haven't made it out the door.
We have policy in our employee manual that if you need to make or receive a phone call on your cell you have to do it in the hallway so you don't disturb anyone else. Thankfully pretty much everyone respects that rule.
I'm around. I just got done telling my office-mate about my future plans. She's excited for me but quite stressed. We've been swamped lately and everyone here is stressed out from the audit. I did give a one month notice though to help her get through the busy time.
I also get very annoyed by cell phones. We have an extra-help girl who started in my office last week. On her second day in the office, she took 3 personal phone calls on her cell phone, each one lasting 10-20 minutes. She stayed in the office for each of them. That's just not a good way to start a new job. I'm so glad I'm leaving
I'm around but about to head to another meeting. I can't believe the day isn't over yet. I'm exhausted.
Thank god my co-workers don't talk on their cell phones in the office or I might beat them with their own phone.
