It's the middle of the week, it's slow, it's a week before the holiday where I'm destined to gain 10 pounds...so. What's making you happy?

1. Today is my Friday. Holla!
2. I have an u/s tomorrow...I really, really, really want to hear the hb...then we will tell parents this w/e. I'm about 7.5w along I think, so really hoping for a good appt.
3. I want to get my nails done on Friday.
4. I actually have some energy today and don't feel like I'm going to puke; here's hoping I can get to the gym today!!!
I have a really light schedule today. Only two scheduled phone calls. The rest of my week has been insane and Thurs & Friday are even crazier. I'm loving bumming it today.
I painted my nails this morning. I love navy blue nails.
Today is my niece's 6th birthday. Not sure what I'm going to get her yet, but heading out after my 12:00 call to pick something up. I'm open to suggestions.
1. I just got more than $300 worth of stuff on Ann Taylor for $101 - a dollar more than required for free shipping. I'm finally updating my wardrobe so I can toss my high school stuff out. Finally. I feel like such a big kid. Now, I just need a nude pair of shoes...
2. I'm more than likely going to Colorado in February for five days. I can't wait...I miss H. A lot.
3. I got just about everything done around the apartment last night/this morning...just need to mop the kitchen, clean the bathroom counters and figure out what to make for dinner. I like that my place is finally clean again.
4. Amazon gave me a free Video on Demand credit that I intend on using today. Nothing like free movies.

Whoops, almost typed a confession. Forgot what the post was.
1) C helps May and me get going in the mornings..he starts my car and carries her out there since I have two bags and a coffee mug. I could make it myself but it wouldn't be easy!
2) I had a really good talk with the nursing staff today. They can be hard to "reach" and there's a pretty big disconnect between them and administration which puts me on "the other team." I felt really good talking to them (they scare me much less now) and I hope they feel better about coming to me with things.
3) My post below includes things that make me happy.
4) The freebies keep coming from our wedding photographer. I just found out that I get a free portrait session every year (sitting fee is usually $150), and then today she emailed me that I have $100 credit to use for referring a friend for wedding photography. I'm so excited!
I'm actually working at work woohoo!!
I'm out of training, that's enough to celebrate!!

Rodgers took Nate out somewhere (he didn't tell me where they were going, probably the mall) and is giving me a much needed break. That boy cut 4 teeth in less than a week! I'm hoping that tomorrow the teeth will have grown in enough that they don't hurt so much anymore. They usually hurt him for a few days after they cut through the gums.
After they left, I got sick. I don't know if it's because of my period, because of being exhausted, something I ate, or if I have a bug. But anyway, I feel better after puking, and now I get to stay in bed the rest of the day. Wahoo!
The weather & season. Autumn is my favorite, and this afternoon I took Meg for a nice walk. It was in the high 50s and the wind was whipping around, the leaves on the trees awesome colors, the leaves on the ground blowing around, the sky a killer shade of blue, and the trees a stark black against it. Everything just looked so vivid. To illustrate...
