I saw the worst "car seat" today at Walmart
I happened to look into the back seat of the car parked next to me at Walmart today and noticed that they had a bouncy chair seat belted in the back seat. There was no one at the car, so no way to prove they had a baby with them or were actually using that as a car seat. They did have a nice "caution, baby on board" sign in the window of the car. I REALLY hope I am wrong and they are not using a bouncy chair as a car seat.

That is crazy. I hate seeing stuff like that. Makes me want to wait for them to come back to the car!
However...my son recently did the fake baby project through school. We all had to go visit my mom at the hospital, and my car didn't have enough room for all of us and a car seat for the fake baby.
So my son held his doll and we threw the car seat in the trunk. I never thought about it until we got some strange looks in the parking lot at the hospital while everyone piles out of the car, my teenage son holding a very real looking doll, and we're getting the seat out of the trunk. hahaha
Completely embarrasing.
I'm going to now pray that family used the bouncy seat for a childs doll.
You all know I'm a huge car seat safety advocate, this would have sent me over the edge. I probably would have waited for them to come out and said something.
I can't handle seeing someone using a clearly expired car seat, let alone a bouncy seat!!! Lets hope they were using it for a doll.
